Agentic Experience Pattern Library
Agentic Experience Pattern Library
A cross-product design system defining reusable interaction patterns for AI assistants across Salesforce.
I led the creation of this framework to help product teams design consistent, trustworthy agentic AI experiences as generative AI rapidly expanded across the platform.
My Role
Led the design and development of the Agentic Experience Pattern Library for Salesforce AI products
Defined the interaction framework and reusable patterns for agentic AI experiences
Designed core patterns including Agentforce Panel, Feedback, and Citations
Built and maintained the pattern documentation and shared Figma library
Consulted with product teams building AI features across Salesforce
Drove adoption through office hours, Slack support, and cross-team collaboration
The Challenge
As generative AI rapidly expanded across Salesforce products, teams began designing AI interactions independently. Without shared guidance, this led to inconsistent agent behaviors, unclear trust signals, duplicated design work, and a lack of reusable interaction patterns.
Salesforce products operated on different technical architectures. This made it difficult to establish consistent design standards while supporting rapid innovation across teams.
Without a shared interaction framework, AI experiences risked becoming fragmented and difficult to scale.
The Approach
I established the Agentic Experience Pattern Library as a scalable interaction framework for AI assistants across Salesforce.
The framework introduced shared design principles, reusable interaction patterns, and implementation guidance so product teams could build AI features while maintaining consistent behaviors and trust signals across products.
I worked closely with product and engineering teams to ensure the framework aligned with technical architectures and could scale across Salesforce platforms.
The System
The Agentic Experience Pattern Library includes:
Interaction Frameworks: Defining how AI assistants communicate, take actions, and interact with users.
Reusable Patterns: UI and behavioral patterns such as Agent Panels, Citations, Feedback, and Task Flows.
Trust & Verification Models: Patterns that help users understand and verify AI-generated responses.
Implementation Guidance: Documentation and Figma components enabling teams to integrate patterns into products.
